One Piece TCG's 6 New Starter Decks (31-36): Which One Is Actually Worth Buying?
Bandai dropped six new One Piece Card Game starter decks on July 31, 2026 -- Monkey.D.Luffy (Red), Roronoa Zoro (Green), Kuzan (Blue), Charlotte Katakuri (Purple), Sabo (Red/Black), and Eustass "Captain" Kid (Yellow). All six launched at the same MSRP, but they are not trading at the same price two weeks later -- and the gap tells you something useful about which decks actually have chase-worthy cards inside them.

Why ST-32 (Zoro) is pulling ahead: it's not the leader card driving the premium -- it's what's riding along with it. The Zoro deck's individual notable cards are already outpricing the others on their own: Kouzuki Oden is sitting at $7.43 and Dracule Mihawk at $4.95, which together are worth more than a third of the whole deck's sealed price. That pattern suggests a deck where the support cards, not just the leader, have real demand -- though the deck being newer and print runs still settling could also be a factor.
By comparison, ST-33 (Kuzan) and ST-35 (Sabo) are trading closer to "leader card plus a small premium for the rest of the deck" -- their sealed price roughly tracks what you'd expect from just the leader alone, which may mean the supporting cards in those decks haven't found a home in competitive lists yet, though it's early enough that this could still shift.
The practical takeaway: if you're buying to open and build, ST-32 and ST-34 currently have the best odds of the deck being worth more than what you paid, card-for-card. If you're buying purely for the leader to slot into an existing deck, ST-35 and ST-33 are the cheaper way to get there.
