"Lorcana's Hyperia City Isn't Out for a Month, and Sealed Product Is Already Pricing Over 2x MSRP"
Disney Lorcana's Hyperia City (Set 14) has a local-store prerelease on October 16 and a wide retail street date of October 23 -- more than a month out as of this writing. There are no singles on the secondary market yet because nobody has opened a pack. What's trading right now is sealed product only, and it's already telling a clear story about presale demand for this one.

| Product | Format | Market Price |
|---|---|---|
| Hyperia City Booster Box (24 packs) | Sealed | $225.94 |
| Hyperia City Booster Box Case (4 boxes) | Sealed | $854.77 |
| Hyperia City Booster Pack (single) | Sealed | $17.49 |
| Hyperia City Illumineer's Trove | Sealed | $118.26 |
| Hyperia City Illumineer's Trove Case (4 troves) | Sealed | $399.64 |
Buying single packs right now costs almost double buying the box. Twenty-four packs at $17.49 each works out to $419.76 -- 86% more than the $225.94 the full box is trading for. That gap is way wider than it'll be once the set actually streets and single-pack sellers have real supply; right now it just reflects that almost nobody's listing loose packs yet, so the few that exist are priced like a novelty rather than 1/24th of a box.
The case discount is thinner than normal, which says something about presale supply. A box case (four boxes) is going for $854.77, or $213.69 per box -- only about a 5% discount off buying a single box at $225.94. Once a set is actually in stores, case buyers usually get a meaningfully bigger break than that, because larger sellers can move volume. A 5% case discount this early usually means distributors and shops haven't started undercutting each other on cases yet -- everyone's still selling off the same thin allocation.
The Illumineer's Trove is where the real presale premium shows up. Ravensburger's official MSRP on the Trove is $49.99. It's currently trading at $118.26 -- roughly 2.4x MSRP. That's a much bigger markup than the booster box is carrying relative to its own typical retail price, and it lines up with how Troves have behaved for past sets: they're usually a mass-retail exclusive (Target, in past chapters), so early copies come almost entirely from local game stores and distributors rather than big-box allocation, which is exactly the kind of supply squeeze that inflates presale prices. Buying the Trove by the case brings it down to $99.91 per unit -- still double MSRP, just a smaller multiple of it.
Part of the demand here is almost certainly the Coco crossover. Hyperia City is headlined by Pixar's Coco, with Miguel and Héctor Rivera getting major treatment alongside a new "Ink drops" mechanic and a newly introduced Illustrious rarity tier sitting above Enchanted. Lorcana has folded Pixar properties in before, but a full Coco-centered set is new ground, and that kind of first-time property pairing tends to pull in buyers who don't normally chase presale sealed product -- which is consistent with box and Trove prices both running hot a month before street date.
All prices above are presale sealed-product snapshots taken more than a month before Hyperia City's October 23 street date. There are no singles on the market yet, sales volume on sealed product is still low, and every number here -- especially the Trove and case pricing -- should be expected to move, likely down, once prerelease events on October 16 start putting real supply into circulation. Don't treat this as a settled price on anything; check current completed listings before buying or selling presale product at these levels.
