"Reality Fracture Is Two Days Old, and Its Bonus Foils Are Already Pricing 100x Over the Same Cards"
Reality Fracture released October 2, so this data is two days old -- about as fresh as a snapshot gets. The set shipped with two parallel premium foil treatments riding on its Borderless and Showcase frames: Facet Foil and Fracture Foil. Both are turning up at wild multiples over the plain printing of the exact same card, and the gap has nothing to do with how good the card actually is.

| Card (Treatment) | Rarity | Price | Same Card, Plain Printing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Omnipresence (Borderless, Facet Foil) | Mythic | $793.33 | $4.93 |
| The Theorist, Jace Beleren (Showcase, Fracture Foil) | Mythic | $569.98 | $37.42 |
| Darklight Phoenix (Borderless, Facet Foil) | Mythic | $558.41 | $17.71 |
| Hexhaven Invigorator (Borderless, Facet Foil) | Mythic | $546.13 | $30.70 |
| Return to the Light Realms (Borderless, Facet Foil) | Mythic | $413.54 | $5.19 |
| Kwia Vigorbloom (Showcase, Fracture Foil) | Mythic | $370.72 | $10.13 |
| Emrakul, the Exigent Doom (Showcase, Fracture Foil) | Mythic | $368.66 | $23.00 |
| Craterclaw Colossus (Borderless, Facet Foil) | Mythic | $357.99 | $10.14 |
Omnipresence is the cleanest example of what's actually driving this. The plain non-foil printing of Omnipresence -- a build-around enchantment, not a format staple -- is sitting at $4.93, which is a completely normal price for a Mythic nobody's jamming into a competitive deck. The identical card in the Borderless Facet Foil treatment is $793.33. That's a 160x gap on one card, and it isn't because the Facet Foil version does anything different on the battlefield. It's the same Oracle text, same mana cost, same everything -- the entire premium is pull-rate. Facet Foil only shows up on a specific bonus sheet, and two days post-release the pull odds are clearly brutal.
The rarity column tells you almost nothing here, and that's the actual story. Every card in that table -- the base version and the premium foil -- is already tagged Mythic. These aren't commons or uncommons wearing a treatment that artificially inflates them; they're the set's real mythics, several of which (Omnipresence, Return to the Light Realms) are pricing like bulk at $5 in their ordinary printing because they're simply not powerful enough to see play. The 15x-to-160x spread you're seeing is 100% a statement about how few Facet Foil and Fracture Foil copies exist relative to demand from collectors chasing the treatment itself, completely divorced from the card's playability.
Jace Beleren is the one card on this list where both halves of the story are true at once. The Theorist, Jace Beleren is a planeswalker getting real Standard and Commander attention, so its plain printing already commands a real $37.42 -- it's not a $5 bulk mythic. Its Showcase Fracture Foil at $569.98 is still a roughly 15x jump, the smallest multiple on this list, which makes sense: when a card has genuine play-demand underneath the collector premium, the gap between treatments compresses. Compare that to Omnipresence's 160x, where there's no play-demand floor holding the plain version up at all.
Two days old means treat every number here as a ceiling, not a settled price. This is launch-week data: completed sales on a card that came out 48 hours ago are thin by definition, sellers are testing high asking prices before the first wave of pulls gets opened and listed, and population reports for these bonus-sheet foils don't exist yet. Expect real compression on all eight of these over the next two to four weeks as more boxes get opened -- the Facet Foil and Fracture Foil numbers specifically, since those are the thinnest-population items on the list by a wide margin.
If you're sitting on early Reality Fracture product, this is the window where a quick pull of a bonus-sheet foil is worth checking before you assume it's just another $5 mythic -- the frame and foil stamp matter more than the card name does right now.
All prices above are live TCGplayer market-price snapshots pulled via TCGCSV on October 4, two days after Reality Fracture's October 2 street date. Bonus-sheet foil treatments (Facet Foil, Fracture Foil) are extremely thin-market at this stage -- few confirmed sales, sparse listings, and prices that can move sharply in either direction as more product gets opened. Don't treat any number above as a stable valuation.
